Lenten Listenings - What new things is God doing in your life?

“Forget the Past - The Lord said:  Forget what happened long ago! Don't think about the past. I am creating something new. here it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands.  - Isaiah 43:18-19

Is your past holding you back? In this Lenten season it’s a time of renewal, refreshing and sometimes that takes intentionality! What are those things in your life you can’t let go of? God is continuously recreating in our lives, but sometimes we are so busy or entangled in our emotions that we don’t notice. This week, consider where God is at work.

Are you being lead to pay more attention to the feelings of others?

Is God bringing comfort to you in new ways?

Is God bringing new ideas and ways for you to serve others?

Pay attention! God is still at work in this world, however you may be feeling.

Lord God, open our eyes that we may see You moving in our lives. Thank you for loving us enough to continue participating in our lives.  Draw us in to you, wherever we are. Amen.
